Organising Saved Prompts

Managing Your Prompts
4 min read

As your prompt library grows, effective organisation becomes crucial. Learn how to search, edit, manage, and navigate between personal and team prompts to maintain a productive workflow.

Understanding Your Prompt Contexts

PromptCue organises your prompts into two main contexts that you can switch between:

Personal Context
  • • Your private prompt library
  • • Prompts you've saved individually
  • • Only visible to you
  • • Full edit and delete permissions
Organisation Context
  • • Prompts shared with your team
  • • Visible to all organisation members
  • • Shows prompt author information
  • • Permissions based on your role

Switching Contexts

Use the workspace selector in the top navigation (next to your profile) to switch between "Personal" and your organisation workspaces. The Saved Prompts page will automatically update to show the relevant prompts for your current context.

Searching Your Prompts

The search function helps you quickly find specific prompts in your library:

Search Functionality

The search bar at the top of your Saved Prompts page searches through:

  • • Prompt names and titles
  • • Framework names (e.g., "RTCI", "CO-STAR")
  • • Prompt content and parameters

Search Tips

🔍 Use specific keywords

Search for specific terms like "email", "product", "blog", or framework names like "RTCI".

Example: Search "email RTCI" to find all RTCI-based email prompts

📝 Search by framework type

Example: Search "CO-STAR" to find all prompts using that framework
