Sharing Saved Prompts

The most common way to share is creating a public link to one of your saved prompts:

How to Share a Saved Prompt

  1. 1

Go to your Saved Prompts page

Navigate to "Saved Prompts" in the main menu

  2. 2

Find the prompt you want to share

Use the search function if you have many saved prompts

  3. 3

    Click the "Share" button

You'll find this in the action buttons for each saved prompt

  4. 4

    Copy the shareable link

The link will be automatically generated and ready to copy to your clipboard

What Recipients See

When someone clicks your shared prompt link, they'll see a dedicated page with:

  • The complete prompt text - ready to copy and use
  • Framework information - which framework was used to create it
  • Creation details - when the prompt was created
  • Copy button - one-click copying to clipboard
  • Save option - ability to save to their own account (if signed in)

Sharing Framework Templates

You can also share framework templates directly from the main prompt builder:

Sharing a Framework Template

  1. 1

Select any framework on the main page

  2. 2

Click the "Share" button next to the framework name

  3. 3

Copy the generated link to share the empty framework template

💡 When to Share Framework Templates

Framework template links are perfect for teaching others about prompt structures, providing starting points for collaboration, or sharing your favourite frameworks without revealing your specific content.

Privacy and Security

Understanding how sharing works and what's protected:

What's Protected

  • • Your account information
  • • Other saved prompts in your library
  • • Organisation membership details
  • • Personal workspace content
  • • Edit permissions on shared prompts

What's Shared

  • • The specific prompt content
  • • Framework type used
  • • Creation date
  • • Prompt name/title
  • • Read-only access to content

Best Practices for Sharing

🎯 Be Strategic About What You Share

Share prompts that demonstrate best practices, provide value to others, or serve as good examples of effective prompt engineering.

📝 Use Descriptive Names

Before sharing, ensure your prompt has a clear, descriptive name that explains its purpose and context.

🧪 Test Before Sharing

Always test your prompts in actual AI tools before sharing to ensure they produce the expected results.

🔄 Provide Context

When sharing links, include a brief explanation of what the prompt does and how to use it effectively.

Managing Shared Links

Important things to know about your shared prompt links:

⚠️ Link Management

  • Permanent links: Shared links remain active as long as the prompt exists
  • Deletion impact: If you delete a saved prompt, its shared links will stop working
  • Edit reflection: Changes to saved prompts are immediately reflected in shared links
  • No revocation: Currently, you cannot revoke access to shared links once created
